User Permissions

Currently the following roles/permissions can be assigned to users:

Open

Edit Config: This permission is useful for a user with an IT role. They need to be able to configure the system, map products, view and change variables. However they cannot view reports with financial data. This permission gives the user access to all menu options except for marketing.
Note: Marketing dashboards are visible.

Note that this permission is required to create new scenarios. If a user is going to use the scenariov featu

View Data: This permission allows the user to view all dashboards inc marketing dashboards.

They cannot edit any dashboards or create new dashboards.

They do not have menu options to change any settings.

Run Jobs: This permission allows a user to go to the datasources menu and then manually run jobs to collect data from datasources. It is little use on its own and is usally assigned alongside other permissions eg. With View Data also selected.

The Following options are then visible if Run Jobs is selected:

They are able to only view dashboards assigned to marketing lists.

View Marketing: This permission gives the access to the “Marketing” menu. It also gives him access to all dashboards of the category “Marketing Lists”.
Note: If this is the only permission set for this user (no “Edit Config” or “View data”) the user only can view the dashboards and their scenarios but cannot edit or create them.
