Here are the things you need to do to get Smart Vet App working:

  1. Register with Smart Vet AppProfitdiagnostix. You should have already received an invitation to use Business Dashboards. You need to register in order to view the dashboards.
  2. Complete the Setup Wizard. Log into your dashboards and click Settings > Setup Wizard.
    1. Follow the guide on: Mapping your profit and loss statement/income statement. It is VERY important to get this right to get the profit and loss reports correct.
    2. Fill in the section on: Making things fair - let's compare apples with apples
    3. Follow the guide on: Mapping your fees. It is VERY important to get this right to get the staff reports correct.
    4. Set some targets in the: Targets per Year section

Staff setup:
  1. To get staff reports working
:
  • Log into your dashboards and click Settings > Setup Wizard.
  • Go to the section: Setup your Staff Dashboards / Merge Staff Members
  • Choose the work allocation type (Number of Invoices / Number of Consultations)
  • Edit the groups in the list. Support staff Role should be set to 'support'
  • Set the email of the staff to the email that their personalised staff reports should be sent to
  • If a staff has multiple logins, you can add multiple of the staff to the group
    1. To email the dashboard to staff

  • Now go into any dashboard (the Weekly and or Monthly Staff Performance reports for example)
  • Click the sharing icon (top right next to your Company's name)
  • Select a schedule and select the staff/groups to send the dashboard to. If the Dashboard is a personalised dashboard (i.e. has the name of the staff/group in it), then you should probably only send the dashboard to the name mentioned.
  • Make sure you have configured email addresses for the staff/groups (otherwise there will be a star(*) next to their name)

    Troubleshooting

    • If your data is more than 3 days behind, it will show a warning. Depending on your system, this may be because your PMS server is offline, configurations have changed, or something has gone wrong on our side. If the problem continues, please contact support@smartvetapp.com and please mention the following things:
      • what time is your computer turned off at night (if at all)
      • have there been any software updates or changes recently
      • has your accountant made any changes to your accounting software recently
