BigCommerce is an eCommerce service accessible to businesses as a web-based service (also called, "web application" or "software-as-a-service (SaaS)") through a monthly subscription. 

BigCommerce is an all-in-one ecommerce solution that allows the user to create a fully functional online store and sell both physical and digital products online.

Setup

Username

The Username required is your Bigcommerce account username. The user must have administrator rights.

Enabling API Access

To grant a user access to the API, login to your Bigcommerce account then follow these steps:
  1. Navigate to the Users area.
  2. Identify the user you want to allow access to the API and select Edit from the Action options
  3. Scroll down to the Enable the API? setting and tick the Yes, allow this user to use the API tick box.
  4. An access token will be generated and shown below.
  5. Copy the token.
  6. Click the Save button.
  7. Navigate back to the Slyncy Setup page
  8. Past the saved token into API Token
  9. Click the Connect button

Are not currently implemented. Please contact support if you want these implemented.

Parties

Parties are transferred with Company and Person name. Please see the (parties data-type)[/docs/data-types/parties] for a discussion on how to map this to various other systems.

 

Notice:

At this stage this connector is flagged as Beta. This means that the connector has only recently been finished.

This basically just means that we will spend some more time with you checking that the setup will work for your scenario before we finalise your configuration.
